Children

The key to photographing children is getting them comfortable enough to let you into their world. Photographing children in an environment where they are at ease raises the likelihood of an excellent result. Children can have bad days, or can be difficult so there is no guarantee they will cooperate. However, with a parent’s help and a familiar environment the chances for achieving superior results are greater. The studio alternative with artificial settings and specific poses inherently works against a natural result. As an uncle I can attest that getting children prepared for a photo shoot is a lot of work. Getting them to the mall or the studio in a state where they want to be cooperative can be difficult. Having the photographer come to your chosen setting reduces your time and effort. The following photos of children are some examples of the candid shots which were described above.
